CNY 2009
So basically this is what I've been doing for the past few days. Went out with Aileen and gfs for KTV. And we really sing like nobody business. 1st day of CNY was at home the whole day with pple visiting us. Then the following is on the 2nd day!

What's in store for me in 2009?
I begin my 2009 journey with my trip to Japan. It was fun I guess but it didn't exactly meet up to my expectation I must say. But overall experience was good. Apart from some unpleasant moments.. Still, I believe certain things in life happened for a reason (thou not all). I kinda missed the weather there cos I can just walk around without feeling sticky and uncomfortable (unlike in SG). And I love dressing up there cos you can't afford not to in wonderful Winter Japan. The pple there are extremely polite and friendly and till now I still behave as thou I am still in Japan, I bow to pple (pple here must think I'm crazy)!
Of cos, there are also things over there that are not as fantastic. Firstly, we had a hard time communicating with them thou there are certain places we can still find chinese. Secondly, it gets damn cold when the wind blows at u and esp at night, it can get pretty freezing. Thirdly, the things there are damn expensive. A simple plain bowl of ramen can cost u a freaking SGD$8!! A mac meal cost you SGD$10!! And lastly, most hotel room in Japan are relatively small. But the toilet seats in Japan is a plus point! And the toilets there are generally very clean. Oh, looking at the railway lines can take you some times to figure out too.. it is way too complicated! But smart me (ehem!!), managed to understand it! Haha..
I will definitely save up more this time to go Japan again! And it will be a 1-mth trip! There are still alot of places I wanna explore.
After the Japan trip (1st Jan - 10th Jan 09), I went to KL for my company AGM (12th Jan - 14th Jan 09). This is my 3rd AGM with JCO but my very first as a participant, not a committee member. I had fun and touching moments. Seeing JCO grew from a group of abt 60 till now we have 160. From our very own pledge to song and t-shirt. I am proud and happy to be where I am now thou I know if one day I were to leave, I'll regret and miss them all.
I need a big faith to take that little step forward. I need to overcome and another miracle. This is no ordinary step cos a wrong move could mean a different path ahead. Sit tight and fasten my seat belt, 2009 will be a better year for me..
